About Kris A. Wright

Kris is an author of magical realism and speculative fiction whose work explores identity and the unseen forces that challenge and shape the human experience. Blending emotionally grounded storytelling with supernatural elements, his fiction often centers on ordinary people confronting extraordinary realities.

Outside of fiction, Kris serves as a Public Affairs Officer in the United States Army and has been published in Stars and Stripes, the 1st Infantry Division Post publication, and on the U.S. Army Reserve Official Website.

An avid outdoorsman and lifelong lover of water, Kris draws inspiration from nature, travel, and human resilience. He is passionate about sports, biographies, and stories that reveal deeper truths about the world and ourselves. He lives in Camarillo, California, with his wife and travel partner, Valerie, whom he considers both his greatest influence and closest friend.
